South African Raymond Hack, head of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Disciplinary Committee, confirmed that the events of the match between Egypt and Senegal in the second leg of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers for the African continent will be discussed by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee.

Hack said, via the Al-Rimontada program on Al-Mehwar channel, that the match is held under the umbrella of FIFA, and CAF has nothing to do with it, explaining that the complaint submitted by the Egyptian Federation will be referred to the FIFA Disciplinary Committee.

He explained that the steps followed in these cases consist in arranging a hearing for the two parties before a decision is issued in this matter.

He pointed out that the Egyptian Federation has the right, of course, to complain about what happened in the Senegal match.

Exclusive: Source from Kaf for Joule: We filed a complaint with the Egyptian Federation to FIFA.. and this is the expected decision

The Confederation of African Football clarified what will happen after the Egyptian Federation complained to its Senegalese counterpart after the events of yesterday's match.

The Egyptian team lost its chance to be in the World Cup after losing to Senegal 3-1 on penalties.

A source from Kaf told FilGoal.com: "We raised the complaint of the Egyptian Federation to the International Federation, as it is responsible for the match."

He added, "According to the regulations, if violations are proven, Senegal will be punished, and the closest is to play matches on its soil without a public presence, with financial penalties."

The Egyptian national team filed a complaint with the match observer, the security official, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the International Federation (FIFA) against what was done by the fans of the Senegal team.

And the Egyptian Federation announced through its account:

The Egyptian Football Association submitted an official complaint against its Senegalese counterpart to the match observer, security official, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the International Football Association (FIFA), before the start of the two teams’ match, which comes in the second leg of the World Cup qualifying round.

The Egyptian team was subjected to racism after offensive banners appeared in the stadium stands for the players, specifically Mohamed Salah, the team leader. This was documented with pictures and videos that were attached to the complaint.
