Officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Sohag Security Directorate arrested a teacher at Al-Batal Ali Othman School, in her fifties, from the Sohag Second Police Department, with a quantity of shabu and hashish in her possession, taken from the department as a scene for her criminal activity.

The events of the incident occurred when Major General Mohamed Abdel Moneim Sherbash, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Sohag Security, received a notification from the warden of the second Sohag Police Department, stating that the officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit in the Sohag Security Directorate had arrested the so-called "S.A. - 54 years old - who lives in Nagaa Abu Shagara." She has a quantity of shabu and hashish in her possession.
Confronting the accused with the results of the arrest, she admitted that she possessed the seized items for the purpose of trafficking.
The necessary report was drawn up on the incident, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigations, which ordered the detention of the accused for 4 days pending investigations.
